If you ever wanted to know how to write “Piccolo” in Namekian, Daizenshuu 7 helpfully includes it in a short list of Namekian words. And sure enough, these runes appear throughout Piccolo and Kami’s Namekian conversation, every time they say “Piccolo” (ピッコロ in Japanese): pic.twitter.com/VUxEuIbIp9

Sadly, it doesn’t appear later when Dende wishes to revive Piccolo and bring him to Namek...but the runes for “Namek” and “person” do. So perhaps Dende doesn’t refer to Piccolo by name, but only as “the Namekian from Earth” or something? pic.twitter.com/pOiLNbqhbm
